1. Dr. Abdul Salam: Former Vice Chancellor, University of Calicut, is a renowned educationist, internationally known agricultural scientist and a seasoned academic-administrator. In a career spanning more than four decades across four continents, Dr. M Abdul Salam has established a reputation as a top-end scientist-educationist, besides being recognized as one of the most authoritative voices in the area of higher education. With over 150 research papers and 13 books to his credit, Dr. Salam has served in various institutions in the capacities of Vice Chancellor, Researcher, Professor, Scientist and Administrator. The national and international awards and fellowships that have come in search of him include the Post-doctoral Commonwealth Academic Staff Fellowship, Krishi Vijnan Award, Vice President GS Pathak Prize, Ponnuswami Chetiar Medal and a host of other recognitions. His PhD thesis won four awards including the Foreign Examiners’ Donation Award. Dr. Salam did his postdoctoral training and research in 1991 at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland (1991). Mr. Jiji Thomson
Mr. Jiji Thomson: The former Chief Secretary and Cabinet rank personal secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr Jiji Thomson belonged to the Indian Administrative Service. In this capacity served as Managing Director of KSIDC. A Director of Cochin Shipyard Limited since July 15, 2017, he served also as Non-Executive Director of Geojit Financial Services Limited until January 5, 2008. However, the most glorious stint of his service was as Director General of Sports Authority of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports from March 2013 to January 2015. Mr. Jiji Thomson holds a Master’s in Economics from University of Kerala and s second Master’s in Public Economic Management from the University of Birmingham, UK. In our Advisory Board, Mr. Jiji Thomson represents public sector enterprises.
Professor Margaret Noble
Prof. K. Raveendranath, A University rank-holder at the Master’s Degree level in Commerce, Professor Raveendranath joined this institution after his four-year term in Calicut University as its Pro Vice Chancellor. He was chosen to this second highest position in the University while he was serving Shree Krishna College, Guruvayoor as its Principal. A teacher of undisputed excellence Prof. Raveendranath taught for 31 years which includes his 11 years experience in the PG Department. As a University top-brass, Prof Raveendranath was member of the University Syndicate, Senate, Academic Council, UGC Autonomy Committee for affiliated colleges, Commerce Board of Studies and Chairman of the Committee constituted by the Kerala State Higher Education Council to study issues related to the University and college Administrative staff. He also served as the Consultant Expert for the NAAC re-accreditation of Shree Krishna College Guruvayoor. His extension activities include his tenure as NSS Program Officer and associate Secretary of the Indian National Committee of World University Service.
Professor Margaret Noble
Professor Margaret Noble, Chief Executive, Waiariki Institute of Technology holds a Doctorate in Geography, from the University of Hull. Prior to joining Waiariki Institute of Technology in 2012, Margaret was the Pro Vice Chancellor at the University of Greenwich from 2005 to 2009. She has held a range of senior management posts in UK higher education including at the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside as Head of Humanities and Head of Educational Development, the University of Teesside as Director of Lifelong Learning, and at the University of Greenwich as Director of External and Combined Studies. Her publications are mainly in the area of in urban and regional studies, higher education policy and widening participation. Her current research interests include access and inclusion in tertiary education, work-based learning and partnership and collaboration. Prof. Drabble represents international academia in the advisory committee.

Mr. V.P. Nandakumar : Shri V.P. Nandakumar is the Managing Director and CEO of Manappuram Finance Limited (headquartered at Valapad, Thrissur District, Kerala State), the first listed corporate entity in India to enter the field of gold loans, thus instrumental in transforming this traditional business. Manappuram, with its pan-India presence demonstrated by 3,300 branches across 26 Indian states and UTs, has about 17,000 paid employees, and Rs. 9,000 crores worth of Assets under Management (AuM). Hailed by Business Today as one among India’s top 100 CEOs and by Business World as one of the country’s most valuable CEOs, Shri Nandakumar is ranked as 42nd among the CEOs of mid-sized companies with revenues between Rs.1,500 and Rs.6,000 crores. Shri. Nandakumar is a renowned philanthropist and the major initiative of the Foundation he heads is the original scheme of “Janaraksha Manappuram” extending health insurance to 20,000 BPL families in the seven Panchayats of the Nattika/Valapad area. Shri Nandakumar represents trade and commerce in the advisory board.
