The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is an integral part of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) department’s quality enhancement initiatives. IQAC is in charge of maintaining and improving the overall effectiveness and educational quality. The IQAC of Holy Grace Academy of Management Studies is made up of academic staff, administrative staff, and outside stakeholders who collaborate to create and oversee various quality control procedures.

Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC) at Holy Grace Academy of Management Studies was formed in August 2020, with the objective of quality up-gradation in the field of professional education. The present structure of IQAC with designations is given below.

The duties and responsibilities that could be taken up by IQAC are:

  1. Conducting regular meetings and discussions with experts in the relevant area to improve and update the curriculum.
  2. Collect feedback from various stake holders including industrialist and employers regarding their requirement.
  3. Assess the employability of students and initiate corrective action through faculty members.
  4. Laisen with Academic board, Advisory board and Management regarding the areas of improvement, feedback obtained from stake holders and action to be initiated
  5. Helping the faculty members for finalization of pedagogy, faculty improvement program and student development programme.
  6. IQAC makes sure the MBA department complies with the standards for accreditation and quality specified by the appropriate regulatory organisations or accrediting organisations.
  7. IQAC is essential in the development and review of the MBA curriculum in order to keep it current with changing business practises, industry trends, and stakeholder expectations.
  8. IQAC is responsible to develop a mechanism for ongoing observation and assessment of the teaching-learning process. Periodic classroom observations, comments from students and faculty, and assessment data analysis may all be used to pinpoint areas for development.
  9. To improve the teaching and research capacities of the MBA faculty members, the IQAC sponsors faculty development initiatives.
  10. To foster industry-academia interaction, internships, placements, and other collaborative activities that improve the learning experience and career prospects for MBA students, the IQAC may establish and maintain collaborations with industry partners, other educational institutions, and professional bodies.
